Built for rest after the ruins
Anuradhapura is a city you explore on foot, by bicycle and by tuk-tuk, often in strong sun. We made DELMOND Lake for the hours in between: a cool room, a proper shower, a garden to sit in and a quiet night before the next early start.
Inside you will find air-conditioned rooms with modern bathrooms, a guest kitchen with a large sitting and dining area, and outdoor tables in the garden. Outside, the lakeside path along Kumbichchankulama is a lovely place for an evening walk.
