What is the Family Room like?

Our Family Rooms give families room to breathe after a long day at the stupas. They have two beds, air conditioning, a private bathroom and their own entrance, with a patio outside and the guest kitchen close by for simple meals.

How to book the Family Room

    Use the booking form, WhatsApp or call +94 71 700 3020 with your dates, number of guests and the room you’d like.

  2. We confirm

    We check availability and reply with the price for your dates. Nothing is final until we confirm.

  3. Arrive from 14:00

    Check in any time between 14:00 and midnight. Free parking is on site for your car or driver.

  4. Pay at the property

    Settle up when you stay, by cash, Visa or Mastercard. No damage deposit is needed.

What is in a Family Room?

Each Family Room has two beds, air conditioning, a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi and a private entrance with patio access. Rooms are around 17 m². One Family Room also has a balcony with a view towards the lake; ask for it when you book.

Is DELMOND Lake good for families?

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome, there is a garden to sit out in, free parking for your car or driver and a guest kitchen for simple meals. The lakeside park across the road is a pleasant place for an evening walk.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 14:00 until midnight, and check-out is between 06:00 and 11:00. If you are arriving late or leaving very early for Mihintale or Sigiriya, message us on WhatsApp beforehand and we will make sure someone is ready for you.

Is there parking at DELMOND Lake?

Yes. Free private parking is available on site and you do not need to reserve it. There is also space to park bicycles. If you are travelling with a driver, let us know when you book so we can plan the parking for your arrival.

How do I pay for my stay?

You pay at the property. We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard. There is no damage deposit. If you book through an online travel site, that site’s own payment and cancellation terms apply to your booking, so check your confirmation.
